 The Swiss Association for Environmental Technology SVUT presents itself.
- SVUT comprises currently over 110 companies and experts in all fields of environmental technology, predominantly belonging to the economic sector of small and medium-sized firms (SME's).
- SVUT members are qualified companies and experts that are active in the specialist areas of consultancy, engineering, manufacturing, commerce and special services.
- SVUT offers its member-companies and interested parties, as well as local authorities and other organisations, information with extensive back-up and provides an institutionalised, accepted platform for dialogue.
- SVUT aims at safeguarding the interests of its members in both technical and economic policy matters.
- SVUT opens up access to new markets to export-orientated companies, as well as organising and taking care of common representation at national and international environmental trade fairs and specialist conferences.
- SVUT has a private financial structure and is politically neutral; the Association is mainly active in Switzerland, but is also orientated towards other countries.
- The SVUT promotes, thanks to the heterogeneity of its member firms, holistic industry solutions in consideration of the sustainable development. Accordingly new co-operation forms as well as new alliances are strived for.
- The Committee of SVUT places particular importance on ensuring a high quality level for the Association in the long term.
